She has performed works by
Trisha Brown, John Jasperse,
Richard Alston, Kathy
Westwater, and Laura Manzella,
and studied with the dance
companies of Mark Morris, |

Paul Taylor, Jose Limón, and Merce
Cunningham. In addition to
Malleable Dance Theater,
Alexis currently dances for Rina Rinkewich, Laura Manzella,
and Duncan Dance Collective.
She also contributes to
Dance and Dance Spirit
Magazines. |

Rebecca Arends
(company member) originally
from Prospect Heights,
Illinois, received a degree in
History and African American
Studies from the University of
Wisconsin-Madison. She was
accepted into the fellowship
program at The Ailey School
and received the Oprah
Winfrey Foundation
Fellowship in 2005.
While attending The Ailey
School, Ms. Arends had the
opportunity |

to perform in
Judith Jamison’s Divining
and at New York City Center in
Alvin Ailey’s Memoria.
Rebecca has performed with Von
Ussar DanceWorks, Rosario: A
Dance Company, M.A.D. about
Dance, and WongDance and is a
member of the Screen Actors
Guild. |

Jacobs

Sarah Jacobs
is originally from Atlanta,
Georgia where she trained,
performed and taught with
Rhythm Dance Center Sarah
moved to New York in 2002 to |

attend The
Fashion Institute
of Technology
and to continue
her studies in
Dance and Theater.
She has
been studying acting under Pam
Scott at The Terry Schreiber
Studio for over four years.
Her favorite roles include
Little Sally in Urinetown: The
Musical, Cecily in The
Importance of Being Earnest
and various characters such as
Reggie Flutie and Zubaida Ula
in The Laramie Project. |

Meadows
(company member) is from Mount
Airy, Maryland. She received
her B.A. from New York
University in 2004. Since
then, she has danced and
choreographed for various
contemporary dance companies
and performances. Most
recently she performed at
Gyeonggi English Village in
Paju, South Korea as a singer
and dancer. She also |

appeared on SBS, one of South Korea’s
major television networks, in
TV Yeonga Mauel. |

Tanner
(guest performer) is from
Mankato, MN. He received a BA
in Dance and Theatre from
Western Michigan University. A
technical internship at
Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival,
introduced him to Garth Fagan
Dance, with whom he performed
nationally and internationally
for 5 years. Lutin has
performed with Dzul Dance,
Silver/Brown |

Stacy
Mayer
(guest performer) is the
Artistic Director of Manhattan
Comedy Collective where she
created the weekly character
improv show Character Dogville.
She is a company member with
Emerging Artists Theatre and
has

their EATfests. A
graduate of The
Actors Theatre of
Louisville
apprenticeship
program, where she
originated David
Lindsay Abaire's piece History Lesson,
Stacy received a Best Director
award nomination from Emerging
Comics of New York for her
work on Saturday Night
Rewritten. Stacy would like to
