Upcoming:

Call for old iPhones for 1.26milliseconds

CALL FOR YOUR OLD iPHONES!  BRING OUT YOUR DEAD!

Patrons!  Friends!  Luddites!

If you saw our latest show, 1.26milliseconds, which premiered at HERE Arts Center in New York on June 25th, you were one of the lucky to experience our newly pioneered video design technique.  We required the audience to use the cameras on their cell phones to watch the action on a totally dark stage, lit by what we call 'invisible lighting'.  It created an elegant and arresting effect that produced beautiful, ghostly images via your own personal technology!

We learned a lot from this first iteration: some phones' cameras work better than others.  To effectively explore this technique in future works, we would like to have the ability to hand out the most effective devices available, iPhones.  Since a large percentage of current iPhone users are upgrading to the iPhone 4, we are asking for your old iPhones (gen 1, 3G and 3GS).  We will love these devices and ensure that they are used in a beautiful, artistic and fulfilling way.  Not only that, but if you donate your old iPhone to us, you'll receive a tax deduction for $100!!  Help the world get a little more awesome while you style up AND cut down on some taxes - win, win, win.

Blackberries also produce a gorgeous image, so if you have an old Blackberry that you want put to good use, you will similarly receive a $100 tax deduction.

Phones should be sent to:
